Keeping fit. I try to keep fit in numerous ways. I am a Keene swimmer and swim at my local swimming pool normally 1 or 2 times a week, each session I swim about 35 lengths. I also go either boxing training or to the gym. I play badminton as often as I can as this is a sport that I particularly enjoy. I also occasionally play squash. On most sundays I play football for several hours. Football is something I enjoy to watch and play. I support my local football club. Being from south Bristol, that team would be Bristol City. I have only ever watched a handful of games but do continue to follow their progress through the seasons. The one other physical activity that I often do in summer days is bike riding. I will often ride my bike to a destination rather then taking my car in order to keep fitness levels up. I probably ride about 10 miles a week, weather permitting.

Reading. My First book (novel) I bought was at a car-boot sale called 'Magic Kingdom for Sale. Sold. By Terry Brooks. I was about 13. My favorite book i've read so far is called 'Dragons of Autumn Twilight'. This is a fantasy style book similarly set as the famous Lord of the Rings books. I have read this book 3 times in total and also read numerous sequels. Other books that I have read include -'Da Vinci code', 'The day of the Trifids', 'To kill a mocking bird', 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' and Bill Bryson's 'A short history of Nearly everything'.

Clubbing/socializing. although not being a Pub person I do enjoy a few pints of Blackthorn cider with mates in the Bristol City Centre at night. Normally Saturday nights by which we end up in a club.

Drumming. I try to practice about 20 minutes a day, I'm getting better and always improving. I've only been learning for about 2-3 years, so i'm no expert

Astronomy. This is something that has always excited me, even as a child. I own a PowerSeeker 114 EQ telescope. I read a lot of astromomy/physics type books and I take part in Astronomy forums

I do enjoy learning new things and something that I have been learning in the past 6 years is the French language. I try to put aside some time each day to practice the language. At the moment I can read about 80 - 90%.
I learn in numerous ways. Mainly from 'teach yourself' learning books and interactive CD roms. I also learn from reading french fiction, watching french films, and talking on french chat sites.

Digital Art is something I have got into recently. I use either photoshop 9 or painter to create the images. Click here to view some of my paintings
